Pertaining to Yes Haitian people are latinos, After reading what you wrote to me I've realized that you didn't really understand me.What you said to me is just what I have said. Haiti became a latin country for the simple reason that it has been colonised by several latin countries such as Spain and France which themselves are latin countries.
France has been also colonised by Italy which is a latin country, too. Through the years of colonisation Haiti without wanting it adopts some habits of its colonisators, suffers of some modifications of its own culture to better capture its colonisators'ones.This is why our Haitian creole is the mixture of spanish, french,the languages spoken by the indians mixed with the different languages of our African ancestors.
