Haiti is a latin country because we have inherited a latin culture, but with a different language (French is latin based too).

Even though that Mexico, Central America and the spanish carribean are located in different areas, they are part of the same latin world named Latin America which basically means: Spanish speaking America.

Haiti is part of the Latin world, which comprise latin based languages like Romanian, French, Spanish, but she is not part of the Latin speaking America, and that is the only difference.

Latin France is different from Latin Spain.

Spain has been influenced by Arab Culture while France, because she has never been conquered by non Europeans, has kept the tradiditional European one.
So, we Haitians, are Latin from our side, and they are Latin from their side, but weé,re both Latin, isn't fun as controversy?
