Concerned Dominican,

You have presented a flawed illustration of defense here.

First, there is no comparison between raising a child and electing leaders to public office and the governance of a country.

Second, I was not referring to Haitians' behaviors but rather about their judgment.

For example, if you had voted for Preval in 2006 then you meet the incompetence and mediocre criteria.

There were a lot of educated Haitians who voted for Preval in 2006. I didn't!

Anyone with good judgment who is competent would realize there was no reason to elect Preval to the presidency a second time. The conventional wisdom made it very clear that Preval was prime minister and he did not do anything for Haiti, he became president for the first time and did nothing for the country, and here he is elected once again as president.

That is a big reflection on the incompetence and mediocrity of an entire nation ability to elect effective leaders to govern them.

You may not agree, but that has been my interpretation and I stick to it.

He just admited of his incompetence and mediocrity to the entire world by accepting Bill Clinton, a foreigner, in to teach him how to govern, or to run the country for him. Here again, the Haitian people should have demanded his resignation right on the spot.

A competent people would have draged Preval out of office on the same day Bill Cliton has put foot on Haiti's soil.

Preval is not deemed to be president.

He is a disgrace to the nation and a big shame to all presidents, head of states.

Think about it!
