Tiba,

Believe it or not, Haiti is a democratic country.

It is in fact the government form that can take roots in Haiti right now based on political circumstances.

I think we as haitians need to understand certain things by being a little bit more tolerant.

I have to admit that "pere lebrun" is not a solution to our problem anymore, as we have used unsuccessfully for many years.

We need eliminate the use of " Pere lebrun" at all possible if we want to see true democratic changes.

We must give Democracy a chance and for that to happen we must be patient.

As you said it in your post, the population needs to educated into making more objective and rational choices to fill the presidency.

We need new political approaches, new educational enterprises to teach the people their rights so they don't have to use violence to get what they want. They also need to elect public servants that will respect thepopular rights.

Pere lebrun is a quick fix that has alot of negative impacts of the country because there will be a tendancy for retaliation or revenge endlessly from the victim's family members.

I know you might be angry and you want to see a change but try to be peacefull as much as possible.

The less violence in the days ahead, the more likely we are on the way to a change.

Rememmber Tiba, you are making an impact right here. Your words and your wrtings are evry poweful and can go along way. So keep your words as positive as possible and 10, 15 years from now you will see their fruits in anyone who might find themselves reading these posts.

If you sow positive thoughts, you will reap not only positive thought but pisitive action in return.

If we need a change, we need to talk the change that we want. The change first begins in the mind then it goes into action.

Peace to you and your loved ones!

Respect...
