Sen. Lambert speaks of «declaration of war»

Reacting to the words of Michel Martelly, Sen. Joseph Lambert declared this Friday "This is a threat against the State and the parliamentarians" He considers the words of the new President, to investigate and bring to justice those who participated in fraud in recent elections as a declaration of "war" adding that if the President Martelly continues on this way "he will have problems with the majority group in Parliament" adding that this situation reminded him what happened with Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 1991, suggesting there could have serious consequences for the country in case of confrontation between the Executive and Legislative branches.
