Hi Linda, I need some advice on what school to attend.

I can't put this thing off anymore I'd like to start in January, I was just grilled by my dad because of school.

We went to visit my old mentortutor.

He just graduated from a medical school in London, when I was in high school, this guy (my tutor) was a college student, for a whole year he prepared my friend D and I for the SAT. He forced us to read books and made us write an essay every week about a topic and periodically he also made us write a five page report on the books we read for a whole year before we took the SAT. He had us read the books to improve our vocabulary.

In the end my score on the SAT was 2190, my friend D scored 2210.

So he's now back in the states where he's going to do his residency program, me and my dad went to visit him. We got there and he started telling me about how disappointed he was that I'm not going to school.

He and my dad basically ganged up on me. And this is a guy i used to talked to when my dad used to get upset me about anything back in the days. He said I'm wasting my time at the job i have now.

My dad wasn't done with me and he waited until I was in the car with him to proper grill me. He said I'm a tormented child who doesn't know how to use my talents.

I almost told him to stop the car and let me walk home. Five years ago while I was visiting my aunt in Montreal one of my cousins took me to the campus of University of Montreal I fell in love with the school so later I applied and they accepted me. But the language of instruction there is French.

I applied for a private loan with chase bank at the time I was pre-approved but they later I asked me for a co-signer.

My dad told me then, that he couldn't co-sign the loan because he was planning on buying a second house as an investment.

But the truth is he just wanted to punish me, he wants me to be a doctor like my mentor.

He's now telling me that if I go to college with the intent of becoming a doctor he will help me. But only if i want to study medicine.

My friend D went to Columbia on a basketball scholarship which is where he got in bachelor in political science.

He was also accepted by the Law school at Columbia but he turned it down for the law school at NYU. I've been looking at a few schools for a while and I've narrowed my search to 3. Georgia Institute of Technology gatech.edu/, McGill University mcgill.ca/, and NYU nyu.edu/.

One of my cousin is a junior at Georgia Tech I visited him twice there it's seems like a great school I like it. McGill University is in Montreal the language of instruction is English the tuition is comparable to that of Georgia tech. Finally NYU because my friend's going to attend law school there.

I want to major in French and business management all three of these schools have these programs.

I was thinking I would get my bachelor in French from one of these schools and then get my masters from Yale in business management.

If I choose McGill I'll be in a french environment and with my aunt and cousins living over there I can be fluent in no time. The reason I want to major in French is because i want to be involved in the education system in Haiti.

My older brother and I are planning to start a business so a master in business would be great.

I know I've said a lot and I'm sorry for that but I needed to vent a little bit. This was very therapeutic.

Do you think my SAT score is still valid after almost five years.

I graduated in the top 10 percent of my high school class with a GPA of 4.7. You know at least on GPA i beat my friend because he's was 4.5. Out of these three schools which one do you think is the best choice?
