You are off base and somewhere out in left field with your insane suggestions that tourism will somehow save or even impove Haiti.

First, tourist industry jobs are low paying jobs. Most importantly in the U.S. the two States the worse off financially are Florida and Nevada--both "tourist" States.

This is because U.S. in long winded recession about to go into double dip recession so where do you think you will get tourists from?

If you were a tourist would you go to crime ridden Haiti which has no basic services or would you choose from the long list of desirable places one right there on your island known as Dominican Republic.

Whats the touris business doing for them?

Better come up with another idea.
