Thanks for the reply.

I certainly believe that you are correct, in many ways. The greatest challenge for me would be to gain the trust and understanding of the people who live there.

I know that I am the "blan" foreigner and would have to build a good relationship on the ground.

I have been able to do this before in quite a few of the places that I have been, both in the U.S, and abroad.

What I hope is that the sincerity of my conviction shines through.

I hope that I can show that I truly believe in the Haitian people and that I want nothing more than to help them take the next step into a better life.

I respect the peoples' faith in Voodoo and I understand how that faith is a significant part of their lives.

I would not want to do anything or cause anything to occur that would cause any conflict with that faith.

Again, in my opinion it is a part of the whole package.

That should be respected.

Thanks again and I hope I can hear more from you soon!
