Well, Haiti has been under some neo-colonial occupation for decades and now it is becoming more apparent thatn ever. We are about to find out how free Haiti is and if U.S. really can claim Haiti's oil as U.S. strategic reserves.

That will be a new form of stealing another person possession to be that of your own because you happen to live next door to that person.

Of course, they are even trying to say that Domincan Republic share the oil in Haiti whereas the oil is not even in the border of Dominican Republic.

They don't know what strategy to conjure up to claim title to Haitian assets.

They have letters in their possession dating some 50 or 60 years when Haitian interior minister informed U.S. of the discovery of the oil and deep water ports and U.S. replied that they were not interested in developing any foreign partnership with any country to explore oil nor develop any transhipment of oil away from U.S. soil. It took them that long to come up with a strategy on how to claim the oil and it will not work. Because the oil belongs to the Haitian people, Haiti has never been a colony of U.S. and even if it was, Haiti paid for its independence to its former colony, France, therefore, any resources, assets, deposits that are on Haitian soil belongs to Haiti and its people and America is going to regret trying to steal yet again from poor people.

Their arogance will cause them to fail before the world.

If they have any respect for Haiti and its people, they would ask to purchase the assets or develop some partnership.

No, they want to stomp on the the Haitian people and again let us know that we are not worthy of our possession and thus our possession belongs to them. I know the Haitian people fight to the end to perserve their rights and this time U.S. foreign policy will be too weak to insulate them from their oppressive methods against non-white citizens.

We must remember, Haiti paid for its freedom and independence, as a result we have legal rights, title to the land and anything that is in the ground.

Alas, an end to the dependency syndrome!
