Kenel, have you not yet notice that this government will do anything it can to keep Haiti from progressing.

But more importantly, there have been many conferences in Haiti about the economy, education, and all sorts of issues.

Conferences, summits, planning meetings, and more conferences is all that members of this Haitian government has been doing.

They go to these things, try to impress each other with their knowledge (which in fact is very limited), eat a lot, talk loud a lot, and in the end all walk away with their egos really pumped up. But the fact is that they had done nothing--nothing at all that would benefit the people who are starving and homeless.

After each summit and conference, they spend the following months talking to each other about how great the conference was and who was or was not there, then they start getting ready for their next meeting, conference or summit.

In the mean time, the children starve, are sold, or die.
