Haiti's Conference on Economic Development?

Dear Mr. President,

I had signed up to attend last October,2007 a conference in support of economic development in Haiti sponsored by the United Nations and the government of Canada.

I thought it was a great idea. However, I received a message that the conference had been postponed at the request of the Haitian goverment.

Will this event ever take place?

Pleas let me know. Thank you,
