I always doubted that he was a generic African American, but your posting clarifies it for me. He is a biracial black i.e. a mulatto person, but very different as compared to the mulattoes in Haiti.

He is a good biracial black and honest, but he has to continue on the path that the white men in positions of power put him. He cannot do any better.

The mulattoes in Haiti are very far to copy him, for they are greedy people.

For all those dark skinned Haitians who believed and continue to believe in their freedom in Haiti, I would love to leave them with this thought "None are more enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free" to quote Goethe, a German author.
