You are 500% right.

You hit the nail right on the head. Haitian males have an ego bigger than an elephant.

But I think this big ego is filled of ignorance, jealousy, ill information, detachment from reality, and lack of thinking capacity.

Haitian males believe on their own fabricated stories.

Haitian males accept criticism from the white man very well, whether it's constructive or not. Haitian males do have a very hard time recognizing the knowledge, skills, and expertise of another Haitian especially if you are a Haitian women.

Haitian males have no concept of debate, they really don't understand it and this is why their debates always end up in name calling, fist fights, and life long enemies.

They really believe that debate is about convincing other people to agree with them and believe with heart and soul what they say is "what it is" and there is no ifs and buts. If you dare to disagree with them then you get called every name in the book, and in some cases, they will never talk to you again for as long as you live. They would care less if they find out that you just dropped die.

This is the kind of society we have in Haiti and we keep wondering why we are in sucha state of decadance.

Some of those, who were the so-called advisors to Aristide, claimed after the regime was gone that Aristide never listened nor acknowledge any of their advice because he thought he knows it all and that no one can tell him what to do. But when taking a close look at Aristide, even the caveman could tell that this man has an ego that is much bigger than the size of Canada, and we can agree with those former's advisors complaints.

The same thing goes with this drunk called Preval who cane barely read, rumor on the streets claims the exact same thing.
