Francois, I do have alot of respect for you, and I think what you do to help the kids in Haiti are noble.

My freinds I never say that you are a restavek or ou rete ak blanc.

But one thing I will tell you is that kind of help (charity) destoy the fabric of our society in the long run. when haiti is depends on a sac of rice or some old medicine from other country.

it makes all haitian look, like we are blind, no feet, no legs, (worthless, useless, stupid) I don't care how people feel about waht I say, other country is not going to respect us.as a nation.

even you, the white man do not respect you, all your population waiting on him for a sac of rice or used clothes.

But one thing we can agree on, is our government suppose to regulate all these things, Remember 99% of the time, a country foreigners come to do humanitarian work will not come in the same country, for their honey moon, or as tourist for vacation.

we have to stop this parasite mentality.

In your case, your organisation could be a good one, but base on experience most of these non-profit organisation in haiti are create to make money.

The unique technique these non-profit use is, by exposing ugly pics to these big donors.

We have to stand up as a man, not to rely on someone else food to feed a whole population haiti.

For Example, Cuba was in embargo for more than 40 years, and haiti is still depend on Cuba for help (food, education, logistic medicine) How do you feel about that. I hope to see you working one day with the white man in haiti to develop tourist, like dom Rep, jaimaca, aruba.

Instead, exposing our dirty laundry to those who do not even like us, I think that is why the international media put us down all the time, because for a sac of rice we are willing to expose all dirty pic in haiti, Shame on those haitian.

personaltiy as a nation?

when we cultive that kind of parasite mentality to all our students in school, try to depend on humanitarian assistance.

Tell me what country that depend on humanitarin charity, that succed?

NONE, I do not hate the humanitarin service, but I hate when a country, depend from head to toes on humanitarin help. Ican see clearly all haitians, student, religious, politicians, are comfortable with humanitarian charity.

As a haitian with pride, I will not feel comfortable to see lil haitian children on CNN fighting over a sac of rice in front of a white man acting like a saviour.

WE need a change!!!! in that behavior.
