On this one I totally agree with Zac. Tearing down our heroes is never a good nationalist idea. All heroes have their weaknesses.

It is up to each nation to cherish and promote the good that each hero did. None black people have always known how to do that. Haitians used to know how to do that too. However, lately, a whole bunch of people, living in Haiti, but not really Haitians have been publishing books about Haiti.

They have made it their business to tear down our leaders, and we Haitians, like all good Negroes, are just sooo happy to jump on that self hatred bandwagon.

Tiba, Toussaint was a great general.

If you read his true history, written by Thomas Madiou or CLR James, you will see how much he accomplished.

He, like all heroes had flaws.

But don't ever tear down your own national heroes.

All that does is lower the world's opinion of your country.

None black people learned this a long time ago; what's it gonna take for blacks to understand something so basic.
