It is very obvious that the political temperament or mindset is "us vs them".

I have never observed any desire among our politicians to make Hati a welcome place for the Haitian diaspora.

Despite our diverse know-how and financial attributes, most of us are seen as alliens to our own country.

We have not seen any political will nor conviction to amend the constitution, in order to address the double citizenship issue among other concerns.

We need to participate in the construction of our country.

We are tired of incompetent and selfish politicians calling the shots on our behalh.

The Haitian diaspora is a powerful force that must not and should not be treated with only the threat of kidnapping and permanent political exclusion.

Haiti needs a renewal. Therefore, we all Haitians need to show affections to our country and the political establishment needs to look into accomodating all of us into the rebuilding of the country.

We will earn more respect when we set in motion our energy for that common and precious purpose.

The exclusion of the Haitian diaspora has been too counter productive.

Decrees, amendments, referendum are all necessary to resolve this problem.
