Dr. Pinchinat; I am not sure how much you know about the current state of the Haitian nation.

It might be helpful to do some reading on the history of Haiti in order to separate the rhetoric, from the outright lies, and from "his story." Filtering out the insanities from the truth about Haiti can be downright traumatic, but unless you fully understand the history from the fallacies, you cannot began to understand how incredibly naïf your question about the current government sounds.

It is this government and its allied (Aristide) predecessor's greed, imbecilic level of intellect, and lack of any true understanding of leadership, which have led to the current state of the Haitian nation.

It is not that Haiti did not have issues before; however, never in its history has Haiti's infrastructure and structure been completely destroyed.

There are currently no books that really address the major changes that have occurred in the past 20 years.

However, if you read some of the older books about Haitian history and culture, you might get some idea of what this current government has done to the country.

I sincerely hope you continue with your search for an answer, but this easy access to truth might not be the best way.
