How can we fix the economy, when we don't produce anything to export?

We have no oil, no gold and no diamond.

When St Domingue was prosperous we use to export a lot of goods towards the worl market.

Nowaday we don't produce coffee beans, enough sugar cane to be transformed into sugar and spirit.

We cannot even produce food to satisfy the growing local demand.

We have to import eggs and coconut from Dominican Republic.

Are we ready to ask all young men and ladies who are leaving High school to become farmers and assembly plant workers?

I agree with you that we have enough educated Haitians throghout the world that can come back and contribute to make this initiative possible.

What we need is creating the proper conditions to make this happen!Creating vocotional schools where they can help set and apply the appropriate curriculum is one condition among others...
