how to save haiti

< Previous | Home | Next >

Hi President Preval,

My name is Cholet Josue, of course born of Haitian parents and grew up in Miami.

I left Haiti when I was 14 yrs old. I have always dreamt of going back to the country that has given me the best time of my life.

However, we all know have living the situation of the past 20 yrs. I am writing you to let you know that I would like to help Haiti.

I know something that your generation probably does not know. I may not have bee living in Haiti for the past 20 yrs still that does not preclude the possibility of me knowing something about Haiti that a good number of people do not know.

I can recite on the back of my hand what has gone wrong, and why has it happened, especially within the past 20 yrs. I also think that I have some of the solutions.

Lately, talking to my friends, we have been saying that we are the last generation of the "WHOLESOME HAITIAN VILLAGE".

After that period, the country began to unravel.

I have been in interested in Anthroplogy, mythology, philosophy for the past 20 yrs, mainly in search of what has happened to Haiti.

I have definitely found some answers and solutions and how to implement.

Also, I recently completed my medical training in Psychiatry, I will be specializing in Neuropsychiatry and Neuroimaging.

Although, I am just starting out with my career, nonetheless, I would like to put to good use some of my knowledge with regards to the restructuring of Haiti.

I WOULD LIKE TO BE PART OF THE GROUP OF THINKERS THAT WILL CREATE THE NEXT VIABLE INSTITUTIONS FOR THE HAITIAN SOCIETY.

SO PLEASE ALLOW ME TO HELP THE COUNTRY THAT I HAVE BEEN DREAMING OF AND HAVE GROWN NOSTALGIC TO THE POINT OF HAVING A BROKEN HEART, FOR THE PAST 20 YRS. I STILL THINK THAT HAITI BEST DAYS MAY BE AHEAD, HOWEVER, WE MUST CHOOSE WISELY.

I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING AND MEETING YOU SOON. THANKS

CHOLET KELLY JOSUE
