Robert, this time I strongly disagree with your statement,"Il est evident que le gouv, Haitien etait depasse par les derniers evenements." It implies that somehow several men over the age of 30 could not see what any child living in Haiti could.

It implies that somehow what anyone living in Haiti knew was going to happen from the obvious food crises took these fairly aged men by surprise.

No, my friend; here you are not being logical.

There are only two answers to what happened in Haiti recently:

1. Everyone in power in Haiti is mentally defective (mentally handicapped), and that would explain how what happened took them by surprise.

Or,
2. (The more logical choice) Everyone in a position of power in that government knew what was going on and what that would lead to, but chose to do nothing about it.

On this occasion you argument that somehow what happened took them by suprise is in bo anyway possible.

If you look at the evidence that leads to deliberate neglect, you will stop thinking that your shouts are simply not being heard and accept that those "GRANDS TRAVAUX?"you want done are deliberately not being done.
