Tiba, I'm a two tour Viet Nam veteran.
I was born and raised in Arizona.
I live in Texas.
I know a little about heat.
I'm confident the recycled plastic building block will do fine in Haiti.
Keep in mind the recycled plastic building block wall has to be plastered inside and out because of the fire hazard.
The plaster isolates the recycled plastic block.
Experts believe the plastics in the block can last a thousand years inside the plastered wall. The plastics also offer greater thermal insulation than concrete or dirt.
But let us go back to the good thing about our recycled plastic building block.
It offers jobs for Haitians.
I offers housing for Haitians.
It offers a Haitian answer to a Haitian problem.
One of the reasons I'm so excited about this for Haiti is the eyes of the US is on Haiti right now. Haiti is under the microscope.
If Haitians embrace the recycled plastic building block construction concept they will become the innovator, the leader.
Haiti can be the positive image we all want them to be.
Another thing to think about is a lot of people in the world are more worried about the problem of plastic pollution than they are about poverty.
If Haiti initiates a hundred percent plastic recycling program then those people will become involved in alleviating Haiti's poverty.
We can do this. We might be talking in circles but keep in mind, others are reading and watching you and me. Some of them are going to agree with you, some with me. But what's important is they're going to be exposed to our ideas.
Thanks again, harvey
