President Obama needs to know that actually Haiti is in need of a total reconstruction not philosophical talk that may not convert into action.

He and President Preval have to agree to improve Haiti building codes and provide the country with newly constructed buildings equivalent or superior to the actual modernized American buildings.

The solution to constructing low homes that use more space than high rise buildings is in the reconstruction efforts of this new decade.

Haiti has space to use upward.

Haiti having a small surface compared to the big countries, the two presidents have to think efficiently about big decisions to take. Indirectly many disease occurrences associated with slum living would be resolved with adequately and solidly sound construction.

In addition all constructions should be earthquake-proof.

The time range to completely rebuild Haiti implies an expectation of 25 to 30 years.

I have this question for President Obama: If the United States can spend human energy and billions of dollars in the rebuilt of a new political Iraq, will they not spend the time and the means to structurally rebuild Haiti, a fellow neighbor country?

I hope that the get-together of the two presidents that life after the earthquake has caused will be a step for Haiti to merge to development.
