Haiti CANNOT rule itself and has not. The UN did not show up overnight, it was Haitian chaos that brought the UN into it. You need to come to realize that now. Occupation, give me a break! The UN has been in Haiti for years and Haiti HAS NOT shown ANY indication it is improving nor is the Aristide/Preval governments asking the UN to leave.

There is only one entity to blame and that's Haiti's elected government.

The people keep electing clueless and mediocre individuals.

Haiti desperately needs intellectual advancement and my three weeks in Haiti immediately following the earthquake leads me to believe there is no one in Haiti that is going to fill that bill.
