There are some fundamental flaws in this analysis, but I don't have time to address all of them. So, I'll just pick on the first one. The point was made that "All humans will have to learn English as a second language in the future." This point is made by someone who has somewhat of a tunneled vision, as it is possible with the rise of China as a supper power that Chinese will become the new language of the market and that that is the language that everyone will have to learn to speak.
As it is, most international studies students on campuses across the US are already aware of this, which is why the Chinese language classes are now overly loaded and the culture classes that deal with China have increased exponentially.
It seems unwise to simply throw out premises that are based on a narrow understanding of the world.
But hey, Bush did it so can you.
