I agree we Haitians have our share of problems and I also believe that at the end of the day we have to hold ourselves responsible.

Because until a person or a society learn to hold itself responsible for its failures and mistakes that person or society will never change for the better.

The truth is Haiti has been discriminated against as a nation and internal racial divisions have also impeded progress and development.

But we cannot allow ourselves to be stuck in this phase where continually blame others for our misfortune.

And we also need to realize that our leaders have not always acted in the best interest of the country.

Regardless of the situation we are the only who can change our situation for the better.

With that said, I think you're confusing science fiction with reality.

I'm a huge fan of science fiction and it seems to me that you've been spending too much time watching those science fiction TV shows and movies.

Those biologists and physicists are not God, they simply hypothesize about what the future maybe like. It's nothing more than a probable scenario, a proposition.

These theories are not absolute truths.

You need to understand the difference between theories and realities.

I get the impression that you're one those deranged people that believe Haitians are ignorant and that we cannot think logically.

Just because we have problems doesn't mean we're stupid.

Have you studied world history?

Do you know about the Egyptians, the Roman empire, the Persian empire, etc...

My point is in those respective times these superpowers set the standards, their language and culture were the most influential but these empires don't exist anymore.

What makes you think the US will always be the most influential country?

The lesson that history teaches is that superpowers rise and fall.

The idea that everyone will have to learn English is laughable and narrow-minded.

Now I'm not a fan of voodoo but it's part of Haitian culture as Creole is part of Haitian culture.

Every society has a culture whether it's a superpower or not. Who are you to judge?

You're trying to convince people that you're a scholar.

How sad!!!

There is so much to say but alas.
