we need to put our country first

First let me apologize if you or anyone else were insulted by the term narrow-minded.

I meant no disrespect.

I'm very passionate about my country.

It may be poor but it holds a special place in my heart.

Haiti was born in me. I get upset when i see haitians wasting their time arguing about meaningless things, when they're fighting amongst themselves for politicians who only care about power.

Instead of helping these arguments only prevent the country from seeing much needed better days because the arguments are divisive in nature.

Politicians exploit us because we don't hold them accountable, we don't keep a watchful eye on them. We value presidents more than the country.

I think we need to come together and fight for the survival and the development of Haiti.

ALASO ALASO SA KI MOURI ZAFE RA YO: meaning we need to leave past leaders in the past and focus on the future of Haiti.

Now you asked me to elaborate on the word narrow-minded: it is someone who is not receptive to new ideas; they don't allow any room for doubts and skepticism.

Such person doesn't examine the facts before taking a position.

Usually their opinions of someone or something is based on personal feeling not facts.

They don't really care about facts or truths.
