Me. If you look at real strong protest from around the world, you will notice that most of them degenerate into some sort of destruction of private or government properties.

For pete sake, even the protest of the most peaceful people on the face of the planet, the Tibetan Monks, turned violent--and they are not starving.

Me. Well that would be true if we didn't just find out that all this time the Haitian government had the money to fix the problem and just didn't. Did you forget the 42 MILLION DOLLARS that showed up all of a sudden on Monday April 7th, when the people decided to go pull the government out of the palace?

Me. This isn't about democracy or any other type of government structure.

This is about corruption and thieves.

Any labeled they give their government is irrelevant.

However, it is even worst than that.

Not caring and deliberately starving a people are different things.

And this government is deliberately starving the people.

Me. What you refuse to understand is that Preval and his cronies know this, and they are ready for it. They will kill and murder every man, woman, and child that gets in their way. They will cry to the international community for help, bringing in more foreign troops to crush the people, they will than kill the few Haitians who still know the difference between right and wrong and blame it on the people, Preval will declare a state of emergency which will allow him to extend his presidency, and than he and his people will pocket every dime that was meant for the country.

A year or two from now, a coup will get them out of power and another thieving group will take their place.

(By the way, did you know that on the internet capital letters mean that you are really angry and shouting?

I don't think you meant to shout the whole time you were writing this to me, but if you did that's OK with me.)
