Quite an insightful post that should be emulated.

The kind an economist with political knowledge about Haiti would write.

Very Accurate indeed.

I would also add once those politicians get into office, they start playing the divide and conquer game. They want power for power itself, it's their get rich quick strategy.

At the end the Haitian population as a whole loses.

Haiti is like a sinking ship, a lot of people are trying to help but the captain and the crew are not making enough efforts to stir the ship towards a calmer climes.
