My response was not meant to insult you or anyone else for that matter.

I've lived in the USA for more than forty years.

During that time, I've interacted with many foreign nationals at the college and university level, on a professional and personal level as well.
The fact that our native land has faced many difficulties during the past decades is well recorded.

Nevertheless, our contribution to freedom, liberty, and justice for all men has earned us the respect and admiration from the four corners of the universe.
