Haitian roads

It is very upsetting to hear that the roads in Haiti are still not fixed.

Not just because it is an inconvenience for me on my next visit, and not just because bad roads don't call out to tourists, but primarily because roads being fixed means employment for the suffering poor in the country.

Road building is the first sign that a country is truly on the road to progress.

And so I don't want to cry shame, but I am concerned as to why nothing is happening in that area.
