If you do not know about someone take the time to do some research before you write about that person.

He was a brilliant military officer.

a Graduate of the class of 1971 of "H second of his class from "Haiti Military Academy".

Gen. Cedras was the "Laureat".

He had a brilliant career and was the only officer who had completed a course on the "Army Joint Chief of Staff" in the United States" I also believed he was the brother of the actual secretary of Health of the state of Florida "Rony Francois"(doh.state.fl.us/secretary.htm.)

He probably made some mistakes during the military coup against Prospere Avril or during his career following the orders of senior officers.

But He was not known as a criminal like "Michel Francois".

or even "Aristide".

Prior to his return to Haiti, Aristide had contacted him to stage a "Coup" against Cedras, but he had refused the job and the money.

Upon Aristide's return to Haiti, He was arrested and jailed on numerous occasions by Aristide for "Complot contre la Surete de L'etat/lavalas".He favored the return of "Haiti Armed Forces" and was seen as the next chief of the army.

He may had some ennemies, but I strongly believe that he was killed by the actual "Aristide Death Squad" which is back in service since the return of the government "Preval-Aristide" with Aristide being the president at distance.
