Duvalier Stolen Cash Is Going Back To Haiti

Today the Swiss government announced that they will return a call all Duvalier's Stolen money back to Haiti.

The New York Times Reports: Switzerland moved Wednesday toward establishing the legal basis to confiscate millions of dollars allegedly looted by the former Haitian dictator Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier, in what could be the beginning of the end of a battle over money that began more than two decades ago.

The Federal Council, the executive body of the Swiss government, said in a statement that it would submit to Parliament a draft law on "the restitution of assets of illicit origin" and that the Duvalier case could be first test of the legislation when it enters into force.

"We believe that stolen funds should not go back to the thief, but should go back to the population," said Valentin Zellweger, an official in the legal affairs division of the Swiss department of foreign affairs.
