Video: Hugo Chavez Explains why Haiti is so poor.

Hugo Chavez declared, January 16, 2010, during his annual address to the nation, a speech in tribute to the people of Haiti.

He wondered at that time on the root causes of the tragedy that Haiti is facing after the earthquake of January 2010.

For the English speakers, Hugo Chavez praised Haiti for helping Simon Boolivar and broadening his vision for the liberation of all South America.

He says that Haiti's poverty is the net result of Colonialism, Imperialism and Capitalism.
