Annie

You said "this website have only 3 educated people on it, tiba, Linda and now added zac. after all everyone log in this site is considere as unaducated."

I really don't know what to make of this statement whether it's an insult, a recognition, or just plain sarcastic.

You also said "If you want to change haiti guys I wish you go there and do what the americans missionaries are doing."

Dou you take missionary work in Haiti as magnificent, as really helping the Haitian people by trading a small piece of bread for their faith?

Annie, unlike many people on this blog and abroad who are just talking to hear themselves talk, I travel to Haiti every year and I just came back from Haiti 3 months ago. I am very well involved in making a difference in the lives of those lving in my hometown, which far more human than what the missionaries are doing.

I don't need to brag about it because I don't expect anyone to give me a cookie or a pat on the back telling how much I care about my people.

I am sure Linda spends more time in Haiti than she does in the state helping the best way she can also. I don't know much about Zac. I don't know when was the last time he's been to Haiti.

So you see, "I walk the walk and talk the talk." My statements, and rational about Haiti did not come from nout of thin air or I pull them out of you know how.

Now here's the biggie, everybody keeps talking about "changing" Haiti and my question is "what is that?" This is where logic and rational thinking takes over idiotic nonsense.

Who is that one person capable to change Haiti?

This is where Linda and I stand up from the rest of the bunch who keep being "poilically correct" and being criticised of being the only educated ones on this blog. Education doesn't have much to do with the way we voice our opinions on the blog, but rather on the basis of maturity, logic, rational, being informed, and critical thinking.

And that's why I, personally, believe there will be no change in Haiti unless the government wants it. It doesn't matter how much will and desire one has to do whatever for Haiti, it doesn't matter if everybody pull elbow to elbow (if we all get together) as it's been the call for the past decades, nothing will never happens without leadership from the government.

I cannot change Haiti, Linda cannot change Haiti, and Linda and I cannot change Haiti and will never be able to change Haiti.

We can make a small different in the lives of a few people in a certain locations in the country, like I am doing in my hometown.

But this is being done on a mizzo level.

Haiti needs to change on a macro level.

By the way, an army is not needed to advance a country forward because Haiti is not the country without an army, and they are doing very well. The function of an army is to protect the souvereinty of a country against foreign and domestic enemies and ready to defend the country against attack from a foreign force.
