Linda, let me tell you a secret about myself.

Both you and Tiba have advised me to go to school and it's the best advice anyone could have given me. Trust me I will go to school.

The reason I didn't apply to any schools for this fall is because I'm in debt.

I've only told one person about this. I suppose the whole world can read it now but my full name is not posted.

When i was about 18 i got 3 credit cards back then I didn't understand finance.

I spent money like there was no tomorrow.

When i came to my senses I was about 16,000 dollars in debt. I joined a debt management program two years ago and I've already cut the balance down to 8 thousand dollars.

My plan is to pay it off by the end of the year. That way next year I can focus on going to school and work less or not work at all.

I take responsibility for the debt and my parents don't even know about it. Besides if my dad knew he would have a heart attack.

The good thing is in trying to find a way out of debts I've learned a lot about finances and investments.

I'm working on restoring my credit now because when I get out of school I want to start a business also.

So that is part of my story.
