Hi, we look forward to your publication but I am afraid with an illeteracy rate of over 60% among the Haitian people, your ideas/thesis/empirical statement about reform in Haiti might not have any impact unless you intend to explain in creole to the illeterate masses what is in your book.
For your info Haiti has had plenty of people with brains throughout its history: Henry Christophe, Balthazar Inginac, Guy Joseph Bonnet, Leger Cauvin, Antenor Firmin, Francois Elie Dubois, Lysius Salomon, Clement Jumelle and thousands more...

The heart of the problem is not a lack of Haitians with brains.

The heart of the problem is what Haiti has been since birth: a slavery emancipated first black nation through blooshed of caucasian people.

With that legacy, Haiti did not make too many friends since the get-go although they all pretend to be her friends.

Although I do not share your beliefs, I do encourage you to work for Haiti's amelioration anyway you deem plausible.
