The way things are going foreigners might take over completely.

I cannot say it would be a bad idea look at Puerto-Rico and Virgin Island.

The opportunity cost would be our self-esteem, maybe an increase of cancer because they like to use other people's country to blow things up and test equipments.

Who knows since the Dominicans like to sell their sovereignty for better economic conditions, we might become one country after all with a blue red and white flag with one star on it indicating that we are another US state.
