Dear Reverend Pastor Hunter:

Thank you for your kind note!
I am touched by your words.

Haiti needs you.

Me and the Great People of Haiti are fortunate to have recognized our true friends who are coming forward everyday in our sad circumstances.

(President Nicolas S. in coming tomorrow from France.

President Leonel Fernandez was here from the Dominican Republic a few weeks ago.)

I am myself a believer that God will never forsake my Government, my country or my people.

My country "is a largely Christian country, with Roman Catholicism professed by 80% of Haitians.

Protestants make up about 16% of the population."
( See details at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiti#Religion)

Last weekend, we lift up my country and the Great People of Haiti in three (3) special days of prayers with fasting.

We are not the most faithful nation.

I, myself - the humble servant of the Haitians - am a sinner before God. But, the God we serve is a gracious God. In this faith believing, we prayed last weekend and we believe that he hears us.

He said so Himself:
"If my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." ( - As you know bible.cc/2_chronicles/7-14.htm )

I personally believe that this is a NEW BEGINNING FOR MY PEOPLE.

(Allow me to say - off records - that it could be a good time to be "THE PRESIDENT".)

Keep us in your daily fervent prayers!
Continuously, pay for Haiti.

Wherever you are right now.

I can not promise to contact you right away. But please, I beg you to contact one of my Embassy (haiti.org/).

I guarantee you that they will take care of you and explain to you the legal process that you can follow to be closer to our hurting people - in needs.

In Jesus-Christ,
