Mr. President; Now is the time for you to become a George Washington.

Myth, leader and legend! I see 2 options.

Firstly, be visible.

Place tents on the grounds of your presidential palace and live there.

Live like the people.

Share their hardship.

Make work leaders meet you there.

And demand the same from all government leaders.

Until the people are safe, housed, and fed. Lead by example Sir, and after 2 or three elections.

Willing step aside.

The other option is to ask the People of Haiti to take an entirely new direction.

Hold a vote, and apply to become the 51st state of the United States! Don't be a territory, but join as equals with all the rights and benefits of citizenship.

Our countries have much in common.

And honestly, I believe both need each other.

Up north we need your passion, spirituality, and perseverance.

Obviously, Haiti needs stablity, money and the infrastructure Statehood would provide.

Plus a leader of a State could easily run for President of the United States, as once Haiti is a state all Haitians are "natural born citizens"! I believe Sir that you and your countrymen are at a cross roads.

And that you should lead like never before.

Don't beg for aid, demand a place, statehood, and equality.

The reasons Haiti was founded in the first place.
