Can you people put that chromosome word to rest?

No, Sir Lebrum, there is no such thing as a 100% homosexual chromosome.

Your chromosomes are essentially your genes that your ancestors have passed on to you.Your DNA or chromosomes can be tested to see whether or not you have fathered or mothered a child.

There are 22 pairs of those genes (44) and 1 pair of sex chromosomes - X or Y- that can determine if a child is a male or a female.

If the child was born XX, the child is a female.

If the child was born XY, then the child is a male. The Y chromosome determines whether a child will be a male or a female.

Humans have a total of 44 chromosomes that determine what you look like and 2 more chromosomes that determine you gender.

All in all, humans have a total of 46 chromosomes.

Since only man carry the Y chromosome, ONLY the male partner with the Y chromosome can help produce a baby boy. Women carry only XX chromosome.

I hope this will help you understand the function of chromosomes.
