Janine Alusma,

Excuse me for not speaking French, and therefore, allow me to respond to you in English.

With all due respect, you seem to forget a very important key element in your long lecture.

This is what's called "POLITICS" and if you can't take the heat you need to get out fo the kitchen.

You claim to be a "Sociologist" but you don't seem to really understand the real definition of this discipline otherwise you would have shown it in your presentation.

Let me enlighten you about a few points here;

1) You call for the respect of Preval, but you fail to realize that respect is not automatic, it is earned and Preval doesn't deserve any shred of respect not even from a dog.
2) After all this is politics and people/citizens have full rights to express their disastisfaction, their frustration, their anger, and their disappointment toward their elected leaders, who fail them, any way they see fit.
3) As a sociologist, you don't seem to understand the role of government and the role of citizens otherwise you would have known that it is really the job of municipality government's job to keep the streets clean by providing garbage disposal alternative to the people and pass laws to punish the law breakers.

4) It is Preval's job to educate the people by providing them with access to schools and by creating a viable education system.

If the people are not as educated as you are it is Preval's fault.

5) As a sociologist, if you knew anything at all about the role of government, you would know that it is Preval's job as president to provide leadership to get things done in Haiti, and not the other way around.

People/citizens don't lead, they follow their leaders.

In conclusion, as a sociologist you still have a lot of learning to do. Don't lecture to a disastified, disappointed, frustrated, angry, and dispair people how to talk and especially how to express themselves to a bunch of uncaring, incompetent, mediocre, thieves, and brain dead leaders who don't give a damn about them and about the country.

Personally, what have you exactly done for Haiti lately?
