Dear Konfreres.

1804, our ancestors have built a great Nation, a new civilization.

But halfway through the building of the great Nation, Haitian civilization, 1806 came new interpreters of our God, Vaudou (Voodoo), our culture, our Togetherness, and taught that Socialism our way of life is wrong and has been discouraged, and our civilization began to falter and wither.

1957, the learned one have interpreted and reinterpreted, National Unity (Power to the most able).

1990, same thing, the dichotomy, Family Lavalas (Power to the most loyal) so differently that now we have a number of parties, cliques, disjunctions which are often so much at odds with one another that we often fight and kill each other.

For 2011, one party politic, undeclared.
