See! We are not on the same page.
Haitians are poor. But, in their poverty, they value their dignity.
Your view is like money can buy anything.
Correct me if I am wrong, it is like you telling me that the Haitian Diaspora can buy "dual citizenship" regardless of what the Haitians think.
That's only in your mind and in your world.
When you step into another world that is different than yours, you must consider that your values are not their values and that they are different from yours.
If there is bad then, there is good. If there are bad and good, then they are moral laws that define the difference.
Therefore, the moral laws must transcend from a moral laws giver.
Respect, honor, justice, dignity do not depend of what you or me or others think.
They are what they are. They transcend time, places and space.
When a man goes to a prostitute there is a pre-arrangement between the two that they will exchange sexual favors for money.
Was there a pre-arrangement or agreement between the Haitian Diasporas and Haiti that they will exchange money for dual citizenship?
Forgive me if I chose the wrong example to illustrate my point which is the Haitian Diasporas can legitimately petition for dual citizenship, but doing through coercion and menaces is totally disrespectful and make any Haitian citizen to question their motives.
As the matter of fact doing it this way is nothing else than a disgraceful act of rape.
Are they blind by their obsession?
That's why I say that in such case, the US embassy will not be able to protect them.
The topic is: Correction for my last post.
