I really don't know what to make of your reply to the article that I posted.

I don't see any relevence that your reply has with the post.

To all of you who might read it, I want you to know that I did not write this ARTICLE.

It is an ARTICLE written by a legitimate journalist from Miami Herald's staff.

Those of you decide to read the Article, I would ask you to please take your time to read it and try to understand the content of the article so you can make an intelligent and rational reply that make sense.

Personally, I applaud these congressional lawmakers on this initiative.

After all Haiti has done a lot for the United States by shading blood to free her from the British occupation in 1776, by making the purchase of Louisiana possible in 1806, etc. etc...

Haiti earned the rights for a "Special Status" that msut be permanent.

The "bay of Pig" fiasco in the 60s by Kennedy earned the Cubans a "Special Immigration Status," why shouldn't Haitians get the same thing too for their big contribution to the United States?

The Dark Night, one other thing you must know, the "Temporary Special Status" is Not a "Program" as you referred to it.
