POEM: The Mother Spirit

The Mother Spirit
There is a presence of Mother Spirit
Expanding the souls of all her children
She roams throughout the Universal Heavens
Lighting the darkness for those in need

Her voice is akin to a soft whisper
Silent words filtered through truth and light
My mind absorbs the purity of her spirit
Transforming my world into the blessings of song

I try and write words that capture her spirit
The essence of her purity and unending light
The whispered words of forgiveness and redemption
As she unfolds the covers of my fears

At times, I hear the clarity of her musical voice
Buried deeply within the recesses of soul
It is in those moments of spiritual wonder,
I find the essence of my spirit reborn
