How can I help...

I read an article the other day about women eating mud cookies and feeding them to their children.

I read how they were actually a good thing for pregnant women due to the calcium, but I also read that they are being eaten to fend off starvation.

I would like to help but don't want to send money to just anyone.

I would prefer to actually send things that would normally be difficult to find or buy but I understand that the shipping is very high. The main thing is who do I depend on to get my money and/or items to someone on the island and make sure that they get to the right people?
