Is the haitian parliament really doing anything?

In regard to your article about corrupted officials, you made reference to the haitian legislature.

But I had yet to read any good initiatives emanating from the legislative body. If you did not mention it, I would have not realized that Haiti has a legislative branch.

If I can recall, the legislative body is only concerned about two issues.

# 1) Which secretary of state should be questioned next or dismissed?

(a strategy to create conflict with the executive branch)
# 2) When the new public force will be created?

(A vehicle for coup d'etat, since the police force is not structured
for that filthy and complicated task)
I tully believe the legislative body needs to re-evaluate his agenda; as a
young body, it appears moribund.

I will be proud to read some more
serious issues coming from the haitian legislature.

We need all
branchs of the government to be functional, the haitian
legislature can not be an exception.

Haitian senators and
congressmen, please go to work. Please, make
us proud.

You guys can be a much better model.
