Ti Rouge, Ti Rouge, Ti Rouge, While you are still dreaming...
Tiba says...
Ti Rouge, Ti Rouge, Ti Rouge,
While you are still dreaming about developing a plan to help Haiti, I, in turn, have been involved helping my hometown in Haiti since 1995. I got arrested in Haiti on the way back to the state in 1994. My US passport was seized and I was stopped from boarding the plane out of pure typical Haitian inferiority, hate and jealousy.
All that was done to me as to humiliating me in front of a group of 15 Americans that accompanied me to Haiti at the time.
I had to go to court and paid $120 US just to get a 2 sentence note from the attorney genral stating that I was the wrong man he was looking for, and ordered custom to give me back my passport.
No apology, no I'm sorry, no nothing.
Even though I went though such humiliation, less than six months later, I was right back to Haiti setting up a humanitarian project in my hometown up north that is still this day serving people in the area very well.
So you see Ti Rouge, not that I'm bragging or looking for glory or a tap on my shoulders, but I am proud to say that I walk the talk and talk the talk.
No Haitian citizen needs to be involved or helping Haiti in order to criticize the deplorable conditions of the country.
Haiti belongs to ALL Haitians regardless where they live, what they're doing, or their socio-economic and education levels.
All Haitians have their God's given rights to criticize Haiti all they want to 24/7 if they so choose to.
I left Haiti a longtime ago, and even though I travel to Haiti pretty often, so far, I have never experienced nor heard of any GOOD news coming out of Haiti not once. No encouraging news, no uplifting news ever comes from Haiti.
And nobody ever asked why.
The topic is: I would like to get 50 students from Haiti.
