On the topic of Let's talk about Double Nationalite, Zarien, I made that same suggestion last year. I suggested that if the Haitian Diaspora started an international movement to simultaneously stop sending money to Haiti, the Haitian government would soon find itself under so much pressure from the people that they would quickly serve us our double nationality on a silver plater.

One blogger responded (in a very nice way) that that tactic would be too harsh on the Haitian people, who would suffer from the lack of funds.

I think that, with things as bad as they are now, it is best that the Haitian people suffer a short time for something that will have such huge longterm benefit for them.
