As you seem sorely disturbed that Haitians are classified in the same group as you, perhaps I should mention that Haitians did not come up with that classification.
It was coined by the same people who coined all the words that demarcate people of color--whites.
I know that these days some Latinos are desperate to remove the black from their heritage, but it is prudent to remember that until the 1990s white considered anyone from Latin America as dirty colored folks.
And because up until the 1960s Haiti was far ahead in many social developments than most of Latin America, most Haitians actually hated being lumped into that category.
As I said before, your agreeing or disagreeing with me has no value to me whatsoever, but perhaps for your own education you might want to do some serious reading on the subject before you make broad statements.
